Caitilyn Yu currently attends Parsons School of Design for Fashion Design. However, she has interests and experience in other art forms as well, ranging from fine arts to music. She has also worked with people in the fashion industry such as Lotta Volkova, Jenny Fax, Mikio Sakabe, and Taka Arakawa. She specializes in design, pattern-making, modeling, and photography, which are all done by herself in all her projects.

Jenny Fax & Mikio Sakabe Assistant and Model, 28 Aug 2021
I worked alongside with Jen Fang (Jenny Fax designer), Lotta Volkova (Stylist), and Taka Arakawa (Creative Director). I changed clothes for the model, as well as hang and tidy up some pieces, printed pictures of all fittings, and modeled garments.
Fashion Sketching Assistant Volunteer | Art Center, July - Aug 2021
I was invited by and worked with Yelen Aye. During class every week, I provided live demonstrations and individual help on drawing, and assisted in fixing supplies (i.e. filling new ink in markers, sharpening pencils, etc.). The course is provided by Art Center College of Design in Pasadena.
Fashion Experimental Design Assistant Volunteer | Art Center, Feb - Mar 2020
Invited by and worked with Yelen Aye once again, I prepared snacks, individual help on fabric cutting and measuring, and created a fun atmosphere for the class. Also helped students make patterns and record measurements. The course is provided by Art Center College of Design in Pasadena.
